Jithin Jude, a 27-year-old app developer from Kerala, India, has always been drawn to creating. His journey began in 2017 during his college days when he published his first app.
Now, Jithin is the founder of Habit Card, a habit tracker app designed to simplify the process of building healthy routines. Unlike traditional trackers, Habit Card presents habits as visually engaging cards, focusing on clarity and reducing cognitive overload. The app emphasizes habit health, creator-friendly design, and privacy, all within a lightweight package.
Jithin has built Habit Card entirely on his own—handling the concept, design, development, and marketing. He adopted a #BuildInPublic approach, sharing his progress and milestones on platforms like X and Bluesky. Early testers helped fine-tune the app, offering feedback that shaped its final form.
With no marketing budget, Jithin has relied on organic growth strategies: sharing habit tips, engaging with communities like #100DaysOfCode, and submitting the app to launch sites. Since pre-registration opened in December 2024, Habit Card has attracted over 150 users ahead of its January 1, 2025 launch.
