Does anyone have experience in building niche job boards? It seems as though a lot have been posted here.
Was it harder to build up the talent site or employer side?
@slate I'm interested in the same question. If you listen to the IH podcast with Eric Turner (who started Japan.dev) he started with the company side first with a contingency fee model (that is, he only got paid if the company hired someone that he sent via the job board). He described that as being a good way to get his foot in the door because it was so low risk for the company. He says the talent side is much harder. I've heard that same point echoed here in other threads about job boards.
@slate This should help if you are talking more on tech side of how to build job boards.
