I have been trying freelancing for a while (with mixed success) and quickly lost track of what CV version I sent to whom, and equally tired of keeping 8 different versions of my CV on file with different profiles. So I wrote DrosteCV for myself. It supports multiple CVs and has field versioning - so you can keep multiple records of each entry. If you worked as a product manager maybe you want emphasize technical skills if you looks for tech job, and stakeholder interaction if you want to move into sales. It started as headless CMS, I just used it through the API but recently I built some UI for it. So now you can drag & drop edit, create time limited links to share with recruiters - this creates ATS friendly text, but also offers PDF and DOCX downloads and I have been experimenting lately with AI supported evaluations like Gap, STAR etc.
I have no intention of making this into a "AI writes your CV for you" type of thing - your CV should be written by you, but I do use LLMs to create interview preps and analysis.
Currently in closed beta, go to drostecv.app and signup and I will send you and invite.
