Just deployed my first side hustle website. Please roast it and give advice

I spent a month creating a website that user can put a thumbnail into a video so that when they upload it to tiktok or instagram, the thumbnail that they chose earlier becomes the preview thumbnail of the video. I didn't validate this idea by asking others but found it cumbersome while doing manually using video editing tools before uploading my own videos to media platforms.
The link to the website is: https://tikthumb.com

I know that the website lacks content but can't come up with anything else. What could i to make it look better and more intuitive?

Maybe also include what file types of videos/image you can support? If you can support most or all, why don't make it your selling point?

    Simple and clean design.

I just worry that it was too simple :((

    Your design is awesome.
    But there are no explanations.
Put above words into your website is a good idea in the first.

Agree with your opinion here. User cannot know what the website does by simply looking at the page

Agree with a lot of the other comments here - the website looks really good, but there’s really no explanation of the problem you’re trying to solve and how it does it. I would say either see if you can grab a more descriptive domain name, or add more copy around what your product does, even something as simple as “pick what thumbnail you want to lead your video” before the file uploading section. Really good design though, definitely keep pushing!

Thanks for your opinion, will keep pushing and make it more descriptive

You really need to add more copy to the hero. Mostly in line with what you've put in this post. What's the big problem you're solving here? And how does your solution solve it? Answer those questions and you're in a much better place.

If I don't read your text here, I won't understand the purpose of the website. And it would be better to highlight supported platforms of tiktok, instagram, etc.

Yeah that Cleanup.pictures is great — from @dxtime

Also look at writing some content for the page that focuses on keyword phrases like "thumbnail inserter video" and consider a rename / domain name that reinforces that.

Can prompt something like this to get some text content:

“Write a landing page for a SaaS page that lets you upload a thumbnail image AND a video and outputs them together, so that when you upload the video to TikTok or Instagram, you can select the thumbnail automatically.”

I think showing some examples of it would also be nice up near the top.

Go bigger and bolder. Check out Adobe Audio Enhancer https://podcast.adobe.com/enhance and Cleanup.pictures https://cleanup.pictures/. Notice how the form inputs are big and occupy the centre of attention.

    Love the name tikthumb 😊

    The backgrounds make this creepy.

Should have some images showing like pic->video->
    Tiktok

Can do pic next to the vid and show them rendered or at least a box representing them in place of that common form file upload

What about the background? What else would you recommend?

The pink of the form background look like lips or a beak, but not in a cute postive way, just a bit off-putting to me

I'm not a designer, easier to say when I don't like it than come up with something good but I didn't see many backgrounds I disliked on roasting landing pages here
