Just did a new landing page, please roast it

Hey indie hackers!

I did a new landing page for my project https://dupple.com because the previous version what too focused on feedback, which led people to think we were an alternative to Canny or Upvoty, which is not the goal of our product (actually we are an alternative to Discourse/Tribe/Slack/...).

If you could review the copy and give me feedbacks and maybe some improvement points, I would be more than happy! :)

Also do not hesitate the check the demo/our community to see if the copy made you think our product was like that.

Have a nice friday :)

Hey Louis, I'd say, it is more or less clear what you are doing. I however struggle to find why I should choose you over slack or discord. Maybe you should directly address this question in a FAQ section?
One other thing I experienced was, that your title sentence might be a little too focused on you instead of what I as a customer can gain by using your product. You explain the value in one of the following sections, however I think it would better fit directly in the title - frankly speaking I would not have scrolled to the second section, if I wasn't about collecting feedback for you - however I would definitely scroll further, if the first thing I see is "Centralize discussions, feedbacks and support in a place your community will love."
I hope my feedback finds you well. Good luck for your product!

Hey, thanks a LOT for your honnest feedback :)

I incorporated a FAQ that I hope will help people like you know why they should use us and not Slack/Discord

I also changed the title sentence and I really think you were right and now it's better.

      Best :)

    Here are my first impressions:

    1. I am not a big fan of the full-width layout on large screens (4k, 27")
    2. Behind every successful project is a community of engaged users that discuss, share and create together.
This sentence doesn't add any value or explain anything about the product, plus it's too passive. I would either rewrite it in the active voice or use that space to point out the top features.

    3. In general, it's pretty clear, my biggest question is why would I choose this over all the other alternatives in the same space, what makes it different?

Hey, we'll make some changes regarding 1. and 2.

Regarding 3., what are the alternatives you see? Are you a user of such alternatives?

Canny.io, https://www.upvoty.com, https://rapidr.io/ and many other similar ones.

I use https://uservoice.com/ just because I started using it a while ago and was too lazy to switch to something else. I am also only going to change to a self-hosted platform, if I can find a decent one.

Ok I see, so we missed something with the landing page, since like I said in the post, we are more like a forum software dedicated to startups (where they can, if they want, gather feedbacks).

I just changed the copy, hope it's more clear now (I use the term "community platform" which I hope is better).

I also removed the screenshot of the tool since it was written "Feedback" on it.

Hope everything is better now ahah

My quick feedback: I think I understand what the product does, but the copy above the fold doesn't really sell me on why I should use it or what benefit I get.

Telling me that successful products have engaged communities doesn't make me think, "Oh, I should create a community to make my product successful." Instead, I think "Well, if my product becomes successful one day, I should think about community. But for now I'm not there, so this offers me no benefit."

Here's an example of a headline that tells me what benefit I get: "Improve engagement and attract more users by creating a community for your product."

The demo button should start with a verb too, like "Try a demo" or "Start demo".

Hi Louis! For the pricing section, I noticed that you have the option to pay either Annually or Monthly. It looks like there’s a discount of $5/month for paying annually. I think you could call out this 20% discount more prominently to encourage more customers to go with annual billing option. Here are a few examples of how other companies show the discount for annual billing in their pricing section:

    2. https://www.glance.fyi/plans/avocode
    3. https://www.glance.fyi/plans/testimonial

    I hope this helps!

      Hey, thanks for the feedback!

I'll see to change this once I am in need of conversion regarding pricing :)
