I've spent the last couple months working on this and excited to start getting opinions!
I used to deal with hundreds of emails a week and hated it. So I've created a chrome extension that lets you use GPT-3 directly in gmail / outlook.
You can even start drafting an email and the extension will build its response off that. In my personal testing, the results have been incredibly impressive.
The long term goal is to try selling it to small / medium size sales departments but short term we need to make the product as strong as possible! So feel free to try it and give us feedback - we tried to make the free tier limits incredibly high.
The website: https://www.replyfaster.io/
Firstly, I love the idea. My first thought was if this works with my client I will pay for it.
Main feedback: Need to reduce barriers at top of funnel
I think having signup as the CTA is going to lose you users this early on. You want them to experience the product as fast as possible. Signup at this point blocks that.
I would put the main CTA as download extension. In the extension, I would then show an example in action based on their input, and then nudge signup to continue using. I would also reduce the number of free emails available to 5 or 10, that should be enough to demonstrate value to them. This all allows you to collect usage data and use cases, whilst still nudging signup.
At this point: downloads + usage data > signups. If a user has your extension downloaded, you still have a user.
This is absolutely awesome advice that I had not even remotely considered. I will work on implementing this, I completely agree with you.
https://www.replyfaster.io/dashboard/quick-start - why no link to the extension? Needs that.
Or put the link in the email with the login code. Seems like they have to install that so put the link on every page until they do. :)
Also changed!
During onboarding "How much time do you spend answering emails at work??" double ? and no time period.
How much time do I spend per what? Per day? Per week?
Changed! Thanks.
Good job! I've registered and logged in but I don't see what's the next step.
Looks like I need to make that more clear!
You can install the extension off the chrome store - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/reply-faster/babaoikcfmgnfaogaochkaphapomffgo?hl=en and sign in to get started.
Can I trigger the function from the extension panel? Or change the shortcut? The ALT+Z is used by Geforce driver on Windows.
Great feedback - I like that idea, I'll work on implementing a button. Unfortunately it only supports keyboard shortcuts - which you should be able to set it any key combination in chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
Nice, I didn't know that I could change it inside Chrome. However, I've changed it but it seems it doesn't work.
Ok, by the way, would be good a link to the extension on the site getting started page.
