Just finished my undergrad degree and jobs are scarce. What now? πŸ˜”

Hey IH community! πŸ™Œ

So on Friday I wrote the very last last exam of my undergrad degree in Finance and Banking. I live in Botswana (a country in Southern Africa) and I don't have a business nor any skills that could help me get an online job.

I live with my mom and so I don't have to pay for rent or food or wifi so right now I'm just applying for jobs, although work is proving hard to find.

I want to learn something online or start a business or something, but I have anxiety and analysis paralysis because I have a thousand ideas and I dunno where to start. I just wanna know, if you were in my shoes, what would you do?

Just hang in there @Kgopiso_Tibe. This time can be pretty hard but it's surely going to make you stronger in the long run.

Small tip - Reach out to founders of company's where you want to work the most over LinkedIn. Get into conversations with them and after building relationship, ask if there might be an opportunity. Out of 10, 8 may say no or in the future.

But you'll be surprise that there are positive responses as well. This is exactly how my marketing intern approached me last year and now he works full time with my team.

    Hope that helps!

It does, I've never thought of that. Thank you so much! 😊
