Just finished up some micro interaction designs.
Yesterday I did a bunch of work trying to get some micro interactions right for adding, editing, and reordering blocks in thunkjournal.com
It took quite a while, but I'm happy with the result. I built these interactions in Framer Classic which IMHO is the greatest prototyping tool ever made.

Something about great UX makes me so much more likely to use a product. I think there are many notes/journal apps out there but this is such a welcome differentiator.

How are names recognized? Is it capitilization (this is not always done)?

We've been using a js library called Compromise to identify them: https://compromise.cool/
Since then we've decided to give users control over this linking feature so they can do it manually. We're still building that now, but here's a preview of our in-progress work:

Thanks, Andrew. Giving users the ability to pick the keywords is a great feature. So, it acts like markdown, i.e. anything enclosed in [[]] becomes a keyword? Might be worthwhile to consider a seperate dictionary where use can put in the keywords so they don't have to keep typing the [[]] for the keyword to be recognized by the system. maybe both, since some keywords might not be used often enough to justify having them in the dictionary. just thinking out loud.
