Super excited to share my first milestone on IH 🚀
I’m a digital marketer focused on helping businesses scale with smart marketing strategies and Shopify website design. Joining Indie Hackers is my way of staying accountable, sharing what I learn, and connecting with other makers.
👉 My next goal is to help 3 clients increase conversions.
If you’ve been on IH for a while, I’d love to hear
What’s the best way you’ve used this community to grow your business or network?
Excited to keep building and sharing milestones here ✨
Welcome, Josh! I joined IH a couple weeks back too —...been sharing SaaS content I’m learning along the way. Curious to see how you use it to hit those conversion goals.
Thanks for the warm welcome I’ve been diving deep into how small changes on Shopify sites can really improve conversions things like simplifying checkout, adjusting product page layouts, and aligning ads with landing pages.
I’d love to check out the SaaS content you’re sharing too always curious to learn from different angles. Are you currently working on your own SaaS project or just exploring the space?
Thanks, Josh love those practical Shopify insights. I’m a SaaS content writer, helping product makers showcase their product’s real value through case studies, growth stories, and deep-dive breakdowns. I’ve been sharing what I learn on IH, LinkedIn, Medium, Substack, Hashnode, and Reddit too.
That's good
How is it going so far?
I actually resigned my job recently to go all-in on writing. My focus is creating in-depth content for product makers .... the kind that feels like it’s written from their own journey and experiences. Picked up 2 small clients so far, and now I’m sharing across IH, LinkedIn, Medium, Substack, Hashnode, and Reddit to add value and hopefully connect with more founders who need this kind of content.
Wow that's great 👌
Aside this do you have other side business?
Thanks:)
Writing isn’t a side hustle for me ....it’s something I’ve fully pursued. I left my job to make it my main focus, and now I work with product makers to tell their stories, highlight the real value of what they’ve built, and even share inputs on the tools and products they’re creating.
That's good actually just keep learning and do the right thing.
How do you get your client?
Yes, I’m in the final stage of building my Notion-based portfolio with all my active posts — kind of a proof point of my writing style and depth. By the end of this month it should be live, serving as a central hub to showcase my work and make it easier for more clients to find me.
Right now most of my clients have come through direct outreach and a bit of word-of-mouth. I’ve also been writing on LinkedIn for the past 3 years, and across all platforms I now have around 250 posts live. Sharing consistently on IH, LinkedIn, Medium, Substack, and Reddit lets product makers see my work before we even talk. My focus has been on creating useful content first, and letting that open doors to client work.
Have you start working on how more clients will see your work?
