Got lots of really good feedback last time around! We just spend 2 weeks working on this new iteration of our site.
Please take a look at our copy and the general flow. Things I would love to have comment on
Would also love some general feedback about the products!
Thank you!!
I lIke the landing page animation of the boxes falling!
I think the design is great and the copy is good. The videos were a bit jerky running on Windows 10 / Firefox. The copy has a few areas it need proofreading / tidying up. I think @Frez121212 pointed some of these out, but just in case, here is what I noticed.
General:
As pointed out with Professional, I noticed the use of Easily repeated in consecutive descriptions.
I also think you should reduce the fluff in the descriptions a bit. Too much makes it feel a bit unauthentic to me.
First set of icons:
Without paying for tons test prints โ Needs "of" Without paying for tons of test prints
Features section
Otherwise looks like a really cool product.
Thank you for taking the time to go through everything! Really appreciate it. Can you elaborate what is happening on Win10/firefox? I only have a mac, I tested on firefox, it seems okay on my side, but thats probably because its a windows 10 thing? Is the video choppy or buggy when you try to open it? Is it all of the videos or just 1?
Thanks again!
Looks great! Love the videos.
The main blurb text at the very top needs a verb at the beginning like "try the ready to use packaging..." or "check out the"...
you use the word "professional" three times at the top. Once in the title, once in the call to action button. And once again in the small title of the second section. Try some synonyms or other flattering adjectives that are not fluffy. I like "professional" because its not fluffy but you cant use it so often.
I'd get rid of the thin dash bar that is indenting the entire paragraph in the second section. it is making a strange visual flow.
Second section text says "Whether you are launch new Kickstarter project,"
Should say launching and Kickstarter should be capitalized.
On brand needs a dash => on-brand
Get the Best Packaging Design Without Hiring Designers. (needs a period)
on the first icon section=>
First icon text:
"Choose any design template. Make them 100% your own. Everything can be customized for your brand." needs to say "make it 100% your own"
Because you said to chose one template you cant use plural for one item.
Second icon text:
"Try different looks for your packaging, preview the changes immediately. Without paying for tons test prints."
More grammar errors: "without paying for tons OF test prints."
Also, this needs to be one sentence or have a semicolon instead of the period. I'd try "Try different looks for your packaging, preview the changes immediately; all without paying for tons of test prints."
3rd section:
I don't know if the three titles in a row are doing it for me. it goes like this:
Title 1: INTUITIVE AND POWERFUL DESIGN PLATFORM
Title 2: Design Effortlessly
Title 3: Flexible Modular Design System
I know title 3 is part of the description for the main title, but after reading 3 titles you're losing my attention.. When I read titles I expect it to be shortly followed by relevant text so I can decide if I want to read that section. 3 titles in a row makes it FEEL more digestible but I feel like I'm reading the same thing over and over in different words without getting more info.
Finally, we get to some meaty text and the first thing I read sounds like another title:
"Easily craft beautiful packaging, and put your product in the spotlight in a fraction of the time with the simplicity of drag-and-drop. No setup or learning gap required."
I'd get rid of the "easily craft beautiful packaging" its basically a 4th title.
4th Section
"Look Professional From The Start" Again you use "professional.. I think it works for this title, But it definitely needs to be less used earlier so that it doesn't feel like the 5th time I'm reading that word. Also the grammar is questionable.. I would say Beginning instead of start. because if you want to use start you may have to make the sentence longer by saying "right from the start"
"Beautifully crafted designs for your product and brand, directly from our veteran creative team with decades of experience to you. Package design shouldn't be this hard."
Aside from misspelling Package in the last sentence.. I would say the last sentence is not even relevant to the title of "battle-tested designs"
5th and 6th section:
no issues
Last section
E-Commerce has a dash
since you're using plurals for other clients you need to use the plural for "agency" as well (agencies)
Overall, I think it's good. But I would keep the fluff in the titles and keep the body text to no BS no non-sense text. Having too much fluff in the body text can make it seem like you don't actually have anything of real value. Which of course you do because the concept is great.
Amazing! Thanks for your detailed feedback!! I am glad you love the video! My co founders are very talented individuals who does some really amazing work.
Looks like there were a lot of grammatical errors and semantic problems. Should have gone through it more carefully, guess we were too excited to launch and just pulled the trigger =p
It looks like from your point of the view, the subtitle text are not being properly explained by the paragraph below and they need to be more congruent, and it looks like we might have an over usage of certain words in the copy. It feels like we need to distill our core value prop clearly
Thanks again for your amazing feedback =)
Love the design!
With what software did you animate the .mp4 on the landing page (atf)?
Thank you!
The animations was actually done with Cinema4D + AfterEffects. My founders and I have design backgrounds. The hardest part for us was coming up with the copywriting!
