Love Notion, but just curious on how the technical side of using it as a websites works. I assume there's no API to export your content - so I assume the content is just hosted on a webpage hosted by them? Then you use some DNS trickery to mask the URL?
I just used super.so. It's really really easy. Only costs like 4 dollars a month too
Same here, building https://saasbase.dev using Super, which connects a custom domain to a Notion page. You really can use Notion as a CMS.

What’s your next step to grow the website?
I’m also a big fan of Notion and currently running a little site as well. Would be great to exchange opinions.
Tbh, don't think I'll focus too much on growing the site. It's been a while since I've launched anything, so just wanted to get back into the habit of launching fast more than anything. Have a couple of other ideas that I'm a bit more passionate about.
One tactic that worked very well for me though is to post the site to different subreddits. I got over 1000 pageviews yesterday and only about 50 came from Product Hunt. The majority came from the different subreddits I posted to.

Can you share how to add that theme switch button on the top right? Also, is it possible to open the page in the default theme of the user's system/browser?.

Okay, I'm planning to use Fruition as well for my page.
By default theme, I mean what the user has set for his system, either dark or light. All popular platforms have this option nowadays - Mac, Windows, iOS and Android. And all popular browsers too.
In my case, I'm browsing with Firefox on Mac. I've set my Mac's theme to dark and Firefox automatically switches to dark. Most pages I open in Firefox, also open in dark mode.
But your page opened in light mode and I used the switch to make change it.
That’s a good point. I didn’t make my page dark mode friendly at the moment although I like dark mode a lot.
I will definitely consider this in the next update ⚡️
