Just launched...and I'm embarrassed

I saw some quote that's something along the lines of: "if you're not embarrassed when you launch, you're doing it wrong"

Well, I am officially embarrassed, so maybe I'm doing it right?

Would love some initial feedback if you'd be so kind (check the explore tab if you have time!): https://www.kocobee.com/

I like the idea and it is clearly conveyed in the product site. I like that you explain the “conversion formula” in the FAQ section.
On the negative side, there are several small details that are not working:

    • all the links in the footer are not active, including the social icons
    • the dashboard is clean but very basic, you are basically showing two datapoints and a calculated datapoint
    • templates are nice, but very similar to each other, some more variety would help
    • there is nothing about the company, where is it based and who’s behind it

Thanks I agree with everything here. Definitely will add the links, along with an about page.

Regarding the dashboard, I assume you just hit the main product dashboard, and didn't click into the individual product(s)? The products dashboard just provides a high-level overview, and each product has more data associated with it.

You are right, I didn't click on the actual products, totally different story :)
Perhaps you could add some cue for the user to click on the product, clearly it wasn't obvious for me.

Let me know if that helps! Still might not be obvious enough.

Is there a difference in the example dashboard page, compared to yesterday?

            1. 1

Hah, yeah I added the "View" column at the end of the row with a link for each product. Clearly it's not obvious enough!

I'll add this as a todo to think through.

I disagree with the folks who say your idea is conveyed well. What I thought your product was, changed drastically each time I scrolled to a different element of your page. Overall, it's a solid idea once I understood it. Hope that helps.

Thank you for your honest input! I'm glad that you liked it once you understood it.

What suggestion(s) would you have to better convey my overall product to a potential customer?

    I think it's a pretty great start.

Congrats! Adding on - Your favicon is different than your logo + header title says 'my test title.'

    1. 1

      Hah, you're totally right, thanks

Congrats! I think Luciano and Jmacgregor mentioned everything I have to say except the line indent of the copy on your landing page. It's better if it's cohesive throughout the whole page.

And if you need some rebranding for your logo design, I can give you an exclusive discount voucher as a gift.

    Happy earning!

site looks good to me. Please increase the subtext font "Want to know how much money ..."

      Totally. Fixed this

Hi Ryan, Always good to get feedback early. Love the idea and site looks like a good start. Some quick notes:

    • The Homepage header section needs a visual element to fill the space or just reduce the space.
    • I like the Templates, maybe link to those in the Homepage section titled "Editable Templates that are Designed to Convert" instead of Join Waitlist
    • There are too many Join Waitlist buttons on the homepage, I'd drop some of those.
    • Can you drop the footer social links until they link to something.

Thanks, just dropped some of the waitlist buttons, as you're right there were too many.

Will fill in the links, and I agree there's too much space in the header section. Will find a solution for that.

Nice, that helps already I think.

@tridev as you build your business, there is a potential partnering opportunity, where you provide

    • You provide early validation
    • We provide free talent for the self-funded tech founders through https://www.skilledup.life. Our pricing starts from £30/month. Once subscribed all talent is free.

You might even want to try us out before thinking about the above.

Your pricing link on the top menu does not work @tridev - an easy thing to fix no doubt. The rest of the page is nicely laid out and shows a well-designed product. Well done.

In contrast to yours, the 2 year old https://skilledup.life, as a product is full of areas that could improve its usability. Hoping to do something in year 3 we just started. My plan is to run the current version until we hit £10k MRR.

I aspire one day to run a beautifully designed tech product. I'm putting traction above product. Today, we have 11,729 Volunteers from 92 countries. In current year, we need to add 100,000. But this should not be an excuse not to improve the product.

    All the best.
