Just launched Kodō: a CRM built for French freelancers (free beta)

Hey Indie Hackers,

I'm Benjamin, a French dev based in Lille. I just opened the free beta of Kodō (https://kodocrm.fr), a CRM I built solo for French independent workers.

The why: my girlfriend Manon, who works as a riding instructor in Vannes, was managing her clients in an Excel spreadsheet with 17 tabs and broken formulas. Existing CRMs are either built for sales teams (HubSpot) or just invoicing tools (Freebe, Zervant). Nothing fit a solo independent worker who needs to track clients, recurring services, payments and reminders in one place.

What it does:

- Client cards with full history

- Recurring services planning (great for coaches, instructors, formateurs)

- Payment tracking + automatic reminders

- Financial dashboard (real cash, not just invoiced)

- French-first, GDPR by default, hosted in France

What it doesn't do yet: invoicing. That's coming with the 2026-2027 French e-invoicing reform. For now, Kodō pairs with whatever invoicing tool you already use.

Stack: Next.js 16, React 19, NestJS, PostgreSQL, self-hosted on a VPS. No SaaS analytics, no US data flows.

Looking for feedback from anyone running a one-person business. Free beta, no credit card, beta users get a lifetime price lock.

Happy to answer any question on stack, positioning, or solo founder life.
