Just launched my first MVP :)

What a great feeling, after weeks of hard work I am thrilled to announce that I just launched my first MVP. Settlebase makes scheduling easier, saving you time and energy.

It takes 3 to 4 emails to schedule a meeting with a client or an interviewee. We bring it down to only 1 email. Set up your availability on settlebase and share your booking link with your invitees. I also included an availability request feature in case you want your invitees to share their availability with you, so that you get more control on when the meeting will take place.

I would love to have your feedback on this first version of Settlebase. Try settlebase for free on : settlebase.io

You can book me here if you want to talk about any related topics : https://settlebase.io/support

Thank you

You have got a great product. It doesn't matter whether Calendly, Bookme, etc are already big players in the market. Forget about people asking you how do you differentiate yourself from the competitors. That doesn't matter now. The key is for you to try not to be Jack of all trade in the appointment scheduling sector. Just try to keep building to serve a particular segmented customers better and align your message to that particular audience, then always try to put your product in front of them and the magic will keep happening. Best of luck.

Between, how were you able to integrate Google Meet with your product. Did you use their API? The Google Calendar API?

Thanks a lot for these encouraging words @Harryd . I really appreciate it. So far no integration. I really tried to keep the MVP simple. There is a simple way to create a new google Meet session using the link https://meet.new/ . And for the Calendar , the event can be added to calendar manually from the confirmation email.

You are welcome. Concerning the Google Meet, I get. Thanks for explaining it.

The first questions that comes to mind for me is: how is this different to existing tools like calendly? Why is it better?

On your landing page, I would make the steps into actual steps (1., 2., 3.) to take out confusing.

Also 5 min setup is way too long for most people. If it actually is this long leave the information out.

Thank you for your feedback. No big difference with other tools at first. But I am planing on adding more features to make it more interesting. I am building mostly for creators and online coaches that sell services such as 1 hour coaching sessions. My goal is to first provide them this basic service and then understand what they need to expand.

It's good that you niche down. I would still recommend going with an MLP - a minimal lovable product. The difference is that you have something that sets you apart from the beginning. A USP basically.

Ask your target group how they currently solve this problem and what they don't like about it. If you get a few answers going in the same direction, you are on to something.

Why? Put yourself in the shoes of your target audience. Most likely they are already using a tool - why should they switch if there is no advantage for them?

Don't get me wrong: you can absolutely build a successful tool in this space for this niche. I just think you make it harder than it needs to be. ;)

Thanks for the advice @DERKINZI I will take this into consideration. I started cold emailing some coaches. Hopefully as I get in touch with them and understand their needs I will know come up with a USP.

Fully agree, there are dozens of calendar SaaS, you absolutely need to explain what you do differently.

Thank you :) . As a "Sales Guy" do you have any advice for me as next steps?

Congrats! The first MVP is always exciting :)

      It really is. Thanks :)

    Congratulations

Looks great for your first MVP! Try to dig into a specific niche you can cater to stand out from the competition (like Calendly, etc). Congrats!

Congrats! This is a really cool idea. I agree with the other comments so far, the steps to use it aren't very visual/clear.

The large block on the landing page to contact support seems a little over emphasized compared to the rest of the page.

Thank you for mentioning this. I kinda felt that too but hoped noone would notice Haha. Will fix it.

For your landing page, including more about how the software works and how it could benefit people might be a good touch.

By the way, I'm looking for feedback on DarkColors, a tool to test your website color ideas, get color palette suggestions, and more: https://www.darkcolors.digital/workspace
