Hi everyone! I've just launched my first productized service! I offer code review services or long-term mentorship.
I'd appreciate any feedback on the idea! Specifically I'd like some feedback on:
Here's the link: https://coherent-code-landing.vercel.app/?utm_source=IndieHackers&utm_medium=Social&utm_campaign=Mini Launch 1
Look at this message you write:
"Anatolii is a senior software engineer with 10+ years of experience in software development. He has worked with a wide range of technologies, in programming and management roles, mentored 10+ students throughout his career."
So with 10 years of experience you only mentored 10+ students ? .. forget the plus sign people look at the number 10. For you everything is 10+ ? That only works for me if i'm going to eat icecream :)
Let me give you a hint:
1º Make something to explain how your code review works and what it includes.
2º Your service is CODE REVIEW
3º For every 1000 lines of code reviewed you want $100
Now you can build your prices:
up to 300 lines
you pay ...
from 300 to 10000 lines
you pay ...
More than 10000
you pay ...
I wish you the best of luck to your project
Pedro
Wait until it doesn't work or becomes unmaintainable mess :) e.g. codementor.io is one platform that successfully has this product.
I mean, a number with a plus sounds better than a number without a plus :)
Great points! It seems the weakest point so far is the scope. I'll try to focus on code review only, that is single-out one product. Thanks for the feedback!
Hi, Toli.
Congrats on launching your service 👏🏽
I just checked the landing page out. Here are a few things I suggest:
The menu bar should replace the 'What we do' button.
Overall, the landing page copy could be better. Your message isn't clear
The FAQs section is missing. It's important to handle objections before it even crosses your client's mind
Hope this helps!
Thank you for the feedback Iveren! That's really useful!
You mean it would be good to remove "Book now" and "What we do" buttons in favour of the menu? Yeah, makes sense, I just checked, from mobile screen size they indeed take too much space - thanks for catching that one!
What kind of objections do you see here?
Clients usually wonder about these...
