Just launched my first SaaS — now trying to find my first users

Gitog: https://gitog.net/

Hey everyone,

I recently launched Gitog, a small tool I built to solve a problem I had myself.

When you build projects on GitHub, sharing your work can be a bit frustrating. You usually end up sending multiple links, or just your GitHub profile, but it doesn’t always present your projects in the best way.

Gitog turns your GitHub projects into a simple portfolio you can share in minutes — useful when you need to show your work to a recruiter, a client, or anyone interested in what you build.

The product is live, and now I’m facing the next challenge: finding the first users.

I’ve started sharing it in a few communities and reaching out to developers. After a little more than a week, I’ve had around 119 visitors, which is a good start, but getting the first users and first sales is definitely the hardest part.

For people who have launched SaaS before:

  • How did you find your first users?

  • Which channels worked best for you?

If you think it could be useful for developers, feel free to check it out or share it with someone who might need it.

Would love to hear your feedback!
