Hey IH fam! 👋
I’m Samir, and I’ve been working on a tool called Img2Sheet — a Google Sheets add-on that extracts data from images of receipts, invoices, or documents directly into a structured spreadsheet.
It all started from a simple pain point: manually entering line items from receipts and bills for accounting or reporting — it's repetitive, error-prone, and time-consuming. So I built Img2Sheet to make that painless.
🛠️ How it works:
Create a project and define the structure (columns you want to extract).
Upload your images (receipts, bills, invoices).
The data gets extracted and inserted into your Google Sheet — automatically.
You can try it now and get 50 free credits to test it out.

🤔 Why I’m sharing:
I just scheduled the launch for Product Hunt tomorrow
I got ~100 website visits from YouTube ads but no installs yet 😅
I’d love your feedback on:
My landing page/demo
How I can make the onboarding even simpler
Where else I should promote to reach the right users
This is my first real attempt at building a micro-SaaS with a clear use case. Any feedback, encouragement, or critiques are super welcome 🙏
Thanks in advance, and happy to answer anything about the build, launch, or lessons so far!
Just launched my side project to automate data entry into Google Sheets — saves time, kills the boring stuff. Would love your feedback! 🚀📊 upssendungsverfolgungde
Great work, Samir! Automating data entry into Google Sheets is such a practical solution; manual entry is indeed time-consuming and prone to errors. Img2Sheet seems like it can really cut down repetitive work, especially for receipts and invoices.
At Hitech BPO, we’ve also adopted automation in our data entry workflows, combining tech with expert oversight to help businesses process high volumes of data more efficiently. It’s exciting to see independent tools like yours making automation accessible on a smaller scale.
Wishing you the best for your Product Hunt launch looks like a real game-changer for anyone dealing with frequent document-to-sheet workflows!
Love the simplicity and layout of the website. Installed but haven't had the chance to test it out yet, I'll let you know how it goes.
As a minor suggestion, I'd replace the word "documents"in the sub-headline with some of the actual docs, eg. receipts, invoices,..., just so visitors have that info almost immediately.
Hi, thank you! I'm happy that it resonated with you. I really appreciate your feedback, and I have applied it.
