Just launched notably

Hi, I just launched notably. It's a simple app that lets you share any kind of text note, and supports markdown syntax:
https://notably.cc

The landing page is deliberately simple - the app itself should be simple enough to pick up with no instructions

I created this mostly as a way of sharing notes between other developers. We use MS Teams at work and the interface for copying and pasting code snippets in and out of there is terrible

Notably requires no sign up and no installation - just write a note, grab the link and share it with anyone.

This is totally free. I'm not yet sure if I plan to monetise it, will depend on the level of interest

Hey @chris_davies, I'm interested in trying this out. I'm not satisfied with the existing note sharing apps out there, and the fact that you support Markdown has me excited. I can't seem to find a link to your site. Point me to the link and I'll gladly give it a try!

I was wondering why I wasn't getting any hits from IH! here's the link: https://notably.cc

Cool! I tried it out. I think there's some cool potential here. I know you've only just recently launched it so don't take this as criticism, just some thoughts and ideas I had while using it.

        1. It would be cool to have all my notes saved in case I forget the links. Could be done with local storage if you don't want to deal with authentication.

        2. A simple mac app would be dope. As a web developer myself, this would be a huge task. It would be cool though!

        3. Update the default Vue favicon :)

Hope this provides some value. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the feedback! You're not the first to suggest the ability to view previous notes, so I'll consider. Not yet sure about desktop, too early to decide if its worth the effort. There's also stuff out there like Typora for that sort of thing

Why are you different compared to other similar services like stackedit.io ?

Congrats on the launch! What's the tech stack that you are using?

The backend is django, hosted on AWS S3, with a graqhQL api. Frontend is vuejs with Vuetify and vue-apollo, hosted on netlify
