πŸš€ Just Launched the Alpha of Roomy - Disk Cleanup Tool For Developers

Hey IndieHackers!

I've been hacking away on this tool called Roomy and just rolled out its alpha version. It's my attempt to tackle the mess we (or at least I) often have in our dev environments.

πŸ” What is Roomy?
Roomy is a macOS application that scans and analyzes your development environment, identifying unnecessary files and caches that are consuming precious disk space. Whether it's old Xcode caches, npm or yarn leftovers, or other temporary files, Roomy aims to help you keep your workspace clean and efficient.

πŸš€ Why Roomy?
As developers, we often juggle multiple projects, frameworks, and tools. Over time, these accumulate a lot of residual files that eat up disk space. Roomy is designed to address this specific pain point, making it easier to maintain a clean and efficient development environment.

πŸ”₯ Alpha Release Features:

  • Scan and identify unnecessary files related to Xcode, npm, and yarn.
  • Visual representation of space consumed by different tools.
  • Option to clean up and reclaim space.

πŸ™ Seeking Your Feedback!
As this is an alpha release, I'm eager to gather feedback from the community. Your insights will be invaluable in shaping the future development of Roomy.

  • What features would you like to see in future versions?
  • Any bugs or issues you encounter?
  • General feedback on the UI/UX?
