Here it is: 6thsouth.com
I just got a twitter account set up, created this landing page on carrd.co (awesome website btw), and set up my first email campaign.
I'm looking for feedback! I know it's terrible. Please tear it apart.
Hi Niall, I think the product is awesome! Not so much the same for the landing page. I don't really understand how will the service work.
Do you already have a user base for newsletters?
I don't think the text is captivating enough.
Also, the text at the end of the page, "6thSouth was founded on January 25th of 2020. We are working hard to deliver a real estate management product to simplify life for a lot of people.
We are currently looking for beta testers. If you're interested in beta-testing our new platform, please email our founder at niall@6thsouth.com", is super weird. January 25th is literally yesterday, I don't think it's a good idea to write it. Can you write a date that's a bit before and tells that you're working on this for a long period of time?
I hope it's useful feedback :)
I've got one email other than my own in my email list so far. I'm starting off with absolutely nothing.
Thanks for the advice! I'll work on the copy more today, and put it to use.
Also, I suggest you to work on the FFF circle and on existing networks of real estate managers and such.
Do you have some story to share on how you arrived up to the point of creating the service? So people can trust you
I'm unfamiliar with what the FFF circle is, and a Google search is not helping much. Can you elaborate, please?
Yes, sorry: Friends, Family and Fools :)
The message isn't really clear to me
People with multiple rental properties that run an empire, didn't solve the basic issues of getting paid for rent and finding the right tenants?
Or just documenting their multitude of properties somehow?
Thanks for the feedback!
For context, I'm targeting independent real estate investors who own somewhere between 1-30 rental properties and are just looking for a good way to keep track of everything. Tenants, lease agreements, applications, vacancy listings, rental income, etc.
Your feedback is super valuable and gives me a lot to improve on. Thanks!
Not sure of the exact numbers but I'd say the person with 1-2 properties is very different from the person with 3-10 and yet different from the 10+ empires.
You'd probably have an easier time starting with more focus into one of the groups for the initial tractions IMHO.
Thanks! I'll take that into consideration.
Not horrible, but mind your color palette and ditch the background images behind the text. Do some due diligence since you’re dealing with real estate and find out, predominately, what some well-known real estate firms are pulling their color palette from.
Thanks! I'll be sure to do some research and experimentation. Do some color palettes do better in different industries?

😁

The website loads really slow on me.
Nonetheless, everything looks good to me, except for the "Manage your Real Estate empire anywhere." part. The items underneath look like blog post to me.
Great job so far, Niall!
Thanks so much! I'll see what I can do about the speed.
Your headline shouldn't be Meet 6thsouth, you should talk about the problem or pain point your address. Something to keep in mind: Goal of the headline is so the visitor reads the subtitle. goal of the subtitle is so the visitors reads the rest of the page and so on..
The images seem to much like mocks.
For the why section, I would change the copy to be more intriguing. Talk about the why & core points, not the what. For example, Automatically Process Payments -> Get paid on time without hassling tenants.
Looks good - best of luck!
Thanks so much!
No worries good luck!
I just did the same with https://simpleboard.io I will really appreciate your time to have a look and better if you can give a small feedback
thank you
Website doesn't load for me, very weird.
Interesting. Do you mind telling me what browser and hardware you're using?
chrome, Ubuntu
Edit working now, before it was stuck loading.
