Just launched WorklogPDF after noticing many agencies were spending 2-3 hours per client per month manually exporting Jira worklogs into Excel invoices.
Built a standalone web app that connects to Jira via OAuth and generates a PDF invoice in 30 seconds. Flat $19/month — not per Jira user like the existing tools.
Launched on Product Hunt this week. First external user already generated an invoice from their own Jira project.
Would love feedback from anyone who bills clients from Jira.
I like that you changed the pricing model along with the product.
If agencies think in terms of invoices per client rather than Jira seats, charging per user creates friction that has nothing to do with the value they're actually buying.
Thanks Aryan for the comment - I think it's a great simple product - and one that has great value add for agencies that want a quick and seamless way to bill their customers
One thing I'd keep watching is whether agencies describe the value as "easier billing" or "less administrative overhead."
Those sound similar, but the second is much broader. It turns the product from a billing tool into something that protects agency capacity.
Congrats on the launch! I noticed you already had someone generate an invoice from their own Jira project, which is a great sign.
Out of curiosity, how did you find that first external user? I'm working toward my own first users, so I'm always interested in hearing what actually worked.
