I'm building a series of small do-one-thing-really-well services, called "Monolithic Microservices" because all the other names were taken.
The first one is a file zipping API — I've had to build one of these for multiple projects in the past, for sending customers all their invoices for a year, sending managers thousands of license files based on the list of servers they manage, data exports for users, etc.
https://ZIPS.dev can handle the problems above and more, so if you find yourself having to write zipping code and worrying about temp folders, drive space, RAM usage and what not, consider just sending the list of files to Zips.dev and having it handle the problem for you.
That's the pitch, would love meta feedback on the problem / solution / docs as well.
Thanks.
Hi, I came across your service today but the email on the site is not available anymore. Do you still maintain this service?
