I kept getting supplier catalogs as messy PDFs and losing hours reformatting them before Shopify would take the import. Import tools all assume your data is already clean, which it never is. So I built SkuParse: upload the supplier PDF, AI pulls the product data out, you get a clean Shopify-ready CSV. Solo build, .NET backend. Happy to answer anything about the extraction side.
This is a clean pain, especially because the real problem starts before most import tools even become useful.
I’d be careful not to position it only as “PDF to CSV,” though. That may undersell the pain.
The sharper decision is which buyer moment you want to own: messy supplier catalogs, failed Shopify imports, or saving ops time before products go live.
I wouldn’t solve that loosely in-thread because the first angle changes the homepage, outreach, and who you should talk to first.
If you’re open to it, share your email and I’ll put the tighter first-buyer angle together properly.
