Update: Just Log Hits $20 MRR in Under a Week π
A quick update since my launch post a few weeks ago!
When I launched Just Log on June 25th, it started as a simple idea: build the workout tracker I wanted to use β no feeds, no coaches, no spammy notifications, just logging workouts fast and getting back to lifting.
Back then:
Android launched first β 0 sales for weeks.
iOS was βcoming soon.β
Now:
iOS launched β 10 paying subscribers in less than a week (~$20 MRR).
100+ active Android users (still $0 revenue).
A growing waitlist of 200+ people from building in public.
Checking App Store Connect and seeing sales trickle in was surreal. Each one felt like a lottery win. Not life-changing money, but validation that people really do want a minimalist, no-bullshit fitness tracker.
Platform matters more than I thought
Same app, same price. Android = 0. iOS = 10 paying users almost instantly. iOS users convert.
Pricing worked
$1.99/month vs competitors at Β£9.99/month. 5x cheaper is the feature.
Building in public paid off
My first subscribers came from my waitlist + Twitter followers who saw the journey. What Changed
Growing to $100 MRR and Beyond
Rolling out more customization features
Continuing to double down on simplicity over bloat

Congrats, love the clean focus. A friendly idea you could try: add an annual plan around 11 to 14 dollars to bank early LTV, and on Android test a one time lifetime unlock since subs convert slower. Also, quick question, do you prompt for a rating after a few workouts?
Cool concept, site looks neat. I've dropped you a follow on X and I'm excited to follow you in your journey! :)
P.s. congrats on your 20$ MRR, that's a huge starting milestone!
