Recently I've been spending more time on Twitter, building my network, meeting other founders and learning A LOT. Naturally, hanging out with Twitter folks encouraged me to get back on IndieHackers :) Since most of you don't know me, I'm gonna make a quick intro:
π§βπ I'm a generalist
π Currently in Belgrade, Serbia.
π Previously founded a tech recruitment agency, Omnes
π Launched Recrooit MVP a year ago. Recrooit is a referral-based recruiting platform where you can refer peers for advertised positions.
... and started building it from scratch. We soft-launched Recrooit 1.0 in December. It's been a crazy couple of months, but I made a decision consistently write updates and recaps on building Recrooit. So, here's a quick January recap:
π 100K+ lines of code refactor. This allowed server side rendering and greatly improved website speed and Google lighthouse quality score. Refactor gave us a considerable SEO boost and allowed us to start building a richer social media presence.
π Huge UX update. MVP version had a lot of errors, and UX was terrible. The whole app is redesigned.
π Session-less referrals. As requested by our users, this will allow them to submit a referral before they register as a Recrooiter.
π© 4.5k visitors (+192%)
π¨βπ»π©βπ» 2,012 Recrooiters
