JustFitness: The Workout Tracker You've Been Waiting For.

I launched JustFitness.io v1 around Jan 2019.
Crickets. But I didn't give up. I've gotten a lot better at design since then and once again I'd like your feedback.

Note: The videos are lazy-loaded to save your data.

What are your thoughts?
How's the responsiveness on your device?
What do you think of the pricing?
What should I add or remove?

I really appreciated the feedback from the last couple times and I'm hoping to get some hard hitting tough love answers.

Hey, I love the site and the desgin.
    Some feedback:

    • It wasn't obvious what to do after choosing my weight units (kg/lb). I had to click outside the popup to make it dissappear. I would expect it to go away automatically or there be a "Save" buttton to click.
    • When I tried to upgrade, the option was hidden in the settings (and I had to verify my email address first). Then clicking the "subscribe" button didn't work. It looks like you didn't include the Stripe javascript on the page?
I'm building PriceWell to solve this issue (we handle all the billing code for you). Maybe it'll save you some time. If you want help solving the Stripe issue, hit me up.

      • Having you click outside of the popup when selecting your unit was a deliberate decision. The intent was to train you to expect to close a popup by clicking outside of it. There are no deviations from that that anywhere in the app. If I added a save button there, then it would only delay the confusion you just experienced. What do you think of that UX decision.

      • Correct. I forgot to include the Stripe Javascript. :) It's fixed now.

It's fine to train users how to use your app. But give them a hint the first time they have to do something that's not intuitive. If it's not obvious how to proceed, users will churn out.

Thanks for bringing the subscribe button to my attention. I will fix it and get back you shortly.

Hey, overall it really looks proffesional!

    What I liked:

    • The colors, very clean.
    • The hero image, give me an idea about what I should expect
    • The reachness of the app, a lot of features and options
    • Love PWA!

    What I would improve:

    • I think it's too long, I think it's better to have a short landing page and move the features to a different page with more drill down
    • The mobile image with an angle looks weird, just put it together, aligned.
    • It's not an onboarding, I think image + text is enough, videos is too much (and a hell to maintain)
    • Most users don't know what is "Progressive Web App." so the "You've Already Got It" is not that clear. I would also remove the "Across All Of Your Devices And Offline." instructions, you want people register, not download.
    • Monthly usually comes before yearly. I know you want to push people to yearly subscription, but you can just put it in color or something.

    Great work, good luck!

I would also remove the "Across All Of Your Devices And Offline." instructions; you want people to register, not download.

You hit the nail on the head with this one. I moved it to the FAQ.

The button opens a popup with instructions.

    Hi,

What's done well on the landing page

    • Hero image gives an inside look into what using the product is actually like.
    • Dark theme is very well implemented.
    • Call to action stands out.
    • Landing page primarily focuses on one goal i.e. to get the visitor to try the product.

What needs to be improved / tested:

    • Center aligned text works for the hero section. The centered align text in for 2 by 2 layout sections is hard to read.
    • The video under Easily Create Your Plan headline is greater than 4MB in size. Try to trim it down and decrease the size of video. Most of the other assets are less than 400KB. It is a good benchmark.
    • The contrast of the text with class text-cobalt-1200 is low.
    • Use 14px as the minimum font-size for very small text. 12px is barely readable.
    • The sub-headline after You've Already Got It is very small. It highlights an important feature of the product (PWA and offline compatibility). It deserves the same font-size (20px) as other sub-headlines.

    Hope this helps, Good luck.

The dark theme was tough to iron out. Thanks for validating the design decisions.
All of these bullet points are actionable and certainly help.
