Kasper Svenning, a product designer from Copenhagen, Denmark, co-founded toddle, a visual web framework aimed at transforming how software teams collaborate. After years in traditional product development, Svenning, along with co-founder Andreas, sought to eliminate the inefficiencies in transitioning designs to code.
In 2022, they launched toddle, offering a flexible tool that bridges the gap between designers and developers, unlike conventional page builders. By May 2023, toddle debuted in beta on Product Hunt, quickly attracting over 1,000 signups. However, initial excitement waned as users struggled with the tool’s complexity and lack of documentation.
Seeking growth, the team pivoted to building a community and educating users, especially within the no-code sector, positioning toddle as a robust platform for advanced web applications. This approach fostered user-generated content, boosting engagement and attracting new users.
Today, toddle appeals to skilled developers and no-code enthusiasts seeking an alternative to prebuilt templates, with subscription plans starting at $29 for custom domains. Svenning's vision continues to shape toddle into a tool that empowers teams to build innovative software more effectively.
