Kick COVID in the face on Product Hunt

We launched our project today. It’s a free online tool that instantly analyzes your risk of developing a severe case of COVID-19 – using your DNA data.

Or as we say, ‘Kick COVID using your DNA data… before it kicks you!

GROWTH LESSON learned: "authenticity above all": We were lucky to get attention of Mr. Andrew Warner@ Mixergy in pretty unexpected way (check out https://twitter.com/AndrewWarner/status/1372575899728547841) :)

Not bad for computational biologists, I guess :) But despite creative gifs with cats, the project is actually serious.

In the late 2020, we have found a connection between certain types of HLA molecules and increased risk of developing a severe case of COVID-19. After publishing an article in the “Frontiers of Immunology”, we figured it would be nice to create a free diagnostic tool available for everyone. The ultimate goal for us is to create an objective, data-driven instrument that would improve the existing system of “vaccination waitlists” – should it be for COVID-19 or other viruses we are yet to face.
