Hey Indie Hackers 👋
I’m launching Klipvee (https://klipvee.com) and wanted to share why I built it + get honest feedback from this community.
If you create long-form content (podcasts, YouTube videos, interviews, tutorials), you already know the pain:
Watching hours of footage
Manually finding good moments
Cutting, resizing, adding captions
Doing this again… and again… for every platform
Clipping videos was taking more time than creating the content itself.
Hiring editors is expensive. Doing it yourself is exhausting.
So I asked: why isn’t this automated yet?
Klipvee helps creators turn one long video into multiple short clips automatically.
You upload a long video, and Klipvee:
Detects meaningful, engaging moments
Generates short clips suitable for Shorts / Reels / TikTok
Saves hours of manual editing
Lets you focus on creating, not cutting
The goal is simple:
1 long video → many short clips → more reach, less effort
YouTubers & podcasters
Indie founders building in public
Coaches, educators, marketers
Anyone repurposing long videos into short-form content
I’m still early and actively improving Klipvee.
I’d genuinely love feedback on:
Does this solve a real problem for you?
What features would make this a no-brainer?
What would stop you from using a tool like this?
No hype, no growth hacks — just shipping and learning.
