I hold a few Korean stocks directly (Samsung, SK Hynix). Korea's Financial
Supervisory Service runs an official English DART portal for corporate
disclosures — I checked it live today and it showed 0 filings across every
market. Turns out English disclosure is voluntary, no legal effect, and
companies mostly don't bother.
Meanwhile the same company (Samsung Electronics) filed 808 disclosures in
the prior month alone, all in Korean.
So I built K-Disclosure Brief: pulls real DART filings, summarizes them in
plain English. Free tier covers the top ~20 KOSPI/KOSDAQ names. Very early —
built and tested the pipeline today with a real filing.
Would love feedback: is this actually useful, and which tickers would you
want covered first?

Great question — right now I'm thinking large caps first (Samsung, SK Hynix, Hyundai Motor, LG Energy Solution) since that's where most foreign retail/small-fund interest concentrates. But if you're watching something specific, tell me the ticker and I'll add it to the priority list. What sector are you focused on?
The gap between the volume of Korean filings and the availability of usable English information is pretty striking. Curious which companies people would want covered first.
