    I don't know why people would pay for an overpriced coffe that's really bad in my opinion, any restauraunt in Spain makes better coffe.

    I guess the same happens with Iphones.

      I'm Spanish, born and rised at Barcelona.
      After traveling around Europe I can confirm you that Spanish coffee is TERRIBLE, everywhere is not toasted but burned...
      Starbucks is very overpriced for us but you can't complain about quality.

      But that was back in 1970s. Then Howard Schultz went to Italy and thought of creating something similar it in the US
