Laid off and discouraged

Unfortunately I just found out that I’m going to be laid off from my job next week. I have a large family to support so it puts me in a tough spot. I’m really discouraged because none of my projects are at a point to be able to sustain me.

One of the things I appreciate so much about this community is the helpfulness, so I figured I’d ask for some help. If you know of any opportunities (full time or part time/remote or otherwise) in marketing (growth, content, or other) or product management I’d really appreciate it.

Hang in there, friend. Do what you have to do to take care of and provide for your family. The projects will still be there, waiting for your time and attention when you're able to. Don't let bad thoughts consume you.

Keep your head up! I was in the same spot, was out of work for about a month, but got a new job that's not quite what I wanted but hit the salary I needed. You'll land on your feet!

Where are you located? I have a lot of contacts in the PM space, but most don't do remote work.

Unfortunately I can't help. All I can say is that you can do it and you will do it. Perhaps post a tweet explaining the situation and your experience. Sometimes they get lots of Retweets.
