What it is
Stockcount is inventory and food-cost tracking for independent cafes and restaurants. You count by voice in the walk-in, snap a photo of the invoice on the loading dock, and ask it questions in chat between tickets. The math comes out the other end — on-hand value, plate costs, what to reorder. You never have to sit down at a computer.
Why I built it
I ran cafes for years. Inventory always happened on a Sunday evening with my phone, tapping counts into a Google Sheet between everything else. Big chains have analysts who sit at a desk and crunch those numbers. Independent operators don't — not because they can't afford it, but because nobody has the bandwidth to spend an hour at a computer on their one day off after a 12-hour shift.
So the whole app is built around one rule: never make the operator sit down. The data entry meets the work where it already is — voice, photo, chat, one-handed, on a phone.
Who it's for
The person doing the count, not the person signing the contract. A line cook should like using it, not just an ops manager. Priced so one cafe can say yes without calling a meeting.
