Landed an interview with a local accelerator!

I get to pitch for 5 minutes and then field questions for 20 minutes! Any tips are appreciated!

I second what @helengriffinjr said. Use the opportunity to figure out how to communicate your value in a succinct, clear way. If you can successfully pitch your product to an accelerator, it's going to be even easier to pitch it to your customers. Good luck!

Know your customers inside out. When you speak of them, use their words. When you speak about the problem you're solving, refer and use the customer language and context. At the end of the day, this doesn't have anything to do with your brilliance as a developer, entrepreneur or genius. It has everything to do with understanding a problem and how it impacts a community and your relation and talent to solving, serving and communicating in that environment for that community.

If you can't recite your target customer verbatim, then I suggest drop everything you're doing to get on the phone or zoom to listen to your customers or prospects. Hell, see if you can shadow them IRL or volunteer to help em just so you can see the contexts of their decision making.

An investor spoke at an event this week, mentioned decision makers (in this case VCs, accelerators, customers) are trying to determine why you? What about you say you can fix this? Best way to prove you're the right man for the job is to prove it - starting w/ the customers.

Good luck @avtges you got this!

thanks a ton for your response, I had a complete paradigm shift when reading.

What slides are absolutely key on a pitch deck for these folks?
I have 1) Problem, 2) Solution, 3) Market Size, 4) Team and then I plan to go through our product (MVP) with them.
