Hello,
Working on an app called Museums made easy.
After traveling for 3 years and visited so many museums, I thought the audio guides were a little boring/academic... I wanted to fix that :)
Please let me know what you think of the landing page (the app is ready too).
Thanks!!
Congrats on the launch, Sophian!
As a designer who used to work in social work (helping people navigate complex systems), I resonate a lot with your mission to reduce overwhelm. Museum fatigue is a real thing.
The "No Download / Works in Browser" is your strongest feature. Tourists are often on spotty data and hate downloading heavy apps just for a 1-hour visit. Keeping it web-based is a great accessibility move. A specific UX suggestion: I see you have the timestamps on the player (great for setting expectations!), but visually, the player still feels a bit static.
Idea: Have you considered adding a visual waveform to the player?
Since your differentiator is that these aren't boring/academic guides, seeing a dynamic waveform (even a static graphic of one) makes the audio feel more alive and conversational before I even click play. It signals this is a story, not just a file.
Best of luck!
this is great feedback! thank you!
I have enhanced the app.

Local Python scripts have a structural advantage in the current market: they're immune to the SaaS subscription backlash. No recurring costs, no vendor risk, no data concerns.
The positioning challenge is that 'script' sounds less polished than 'platform.' Worth double-down on the positioning: 'the tool you own, not the subscription you rent.'
