Landing page copy resources

Hi!

So at the moment I am working on a application, I was skipping the fundemental parts and that would be getting the landing page to start getting some place others can go or i can send others to: http://get.leafnode.app/

The issue i have. I was trying to get copy and this made me realise I am not good at it so my question:

Is there any advice, resources for what others use as a template while working on their landing page/pages and use going forward?

The goal was to market and start social media as I post to build in public but before I do, It might be worth me spending time making the information speak for itself and not have me just build.

Any advice, direct to a resource or if you recommend anyone to help with general missing pieces on the landing pages and what to do would be appreciated.

Really focus on nailing the first headline, it will be the biggest conversion factor. Keep sentence to 2 lines max, conversation words mixed with emotional/power keywords in your niche. Also asking Claude to rate your copy on a scale of 1-10 and provide you 10 better alternative is great!

I went the wrong way with headlines, I never looked at it from the user point of view. Noted!

To me, the best way to learn landing page copy is to study landing pages that convert well. Reverse engineer what the best ones did right so you can understand what works. Then, look at bad landing pages, and figure out why they're bad

The links sent on the threads as replies here and some on reddit had shown dome patterns that I have gone through and I am starting to notice where I fell short and looking at what the others did helps!

I found this guide to be quite useful with lots of tips: search marc lou landing page, I can't post links yet on IH.

He kind of listed all the mistakes I've made as an engineer -> founder, mainly making my landing page a feature list rather than a set of problems and how my product solves them.

I have generally seen him popping up on YT recomendations so i must be on Track, this is super useful because the transission of teh way I think about it is the biggest blocker for me from an engineering standpoint. Thank you for this!

I was thinking of paying and it might be a good option, but I also feel it might be worth taking time to learn basics enough in order to have a bassis to work off of going forward in similar situations when creating landing pages or even general content.
