I just launched a landing page for my new product and would love feedback on how to improve it. Also interested to hear feedback (good and bad!) on the product itself if anyone wants to give some. Thanks in advance!

Line height of the H1 heading is way too high, so 2nd line feels disconnected from the first. It depends from the font but experiment with LH of 120-150% of the font size.
Awesome feedback, thanks Tom! I'll definitely mess around with changing the line height. Would love to hear any other thoughts if you have any, even for the product itself :)
Clean landing page. Don’t really know what you’re selling though or what you do.
I would suggest hiring a copywriter. If you’re super serious about it, spend a little money!
Great feedback. I agree the most recent headline I went with is a bit more vague than others I previously had. I'll work on making it more explicitly clear what we do in the first headline. Question -- did the sub-headline text help clarify for you what we do at all or what our value prop is?

Also, how do you guys intend to make money with shortcuts?
We help people learn keyboard shortcuts to make them more efficient at using their computer. With the second sentence, do you mean putting the headline & sub headline centered at the top and the image below them both?
We're currently rethinking our business model and may make some changes soon, so I don't have a great answer at the moment.
What kinds of programs do you use most often? Are you a designer, developer, etc?

Your current headline:
Learn shortcuts like a pro for any program.
My first suggestion would be to include the benefit of the user in the headline in addition to what you do.
Something like this:
We Teach keyboard shortcuts so you can get lightening fast and super efficient at typing pretty much anything!
Or.
Learn keyboard shortcuts and get lightening quick and super efficient at typing anywhere on your computer.
Or
Learn keyboard shortcuts from the pros and get lightening quick and super efficient at typing!
Yup. I would suggest putting the sub headline at the top above the picture right below the main headline. My experience, I’ve always done it this way. It’s confusing to the user when they see a picture and don’t really know what they’re looking at. At least if they read the sub headline, they have a better idea.
In regards to how you make money, this business reminds me a little bit like codecademy back in the day. Basically, they taught people how to code for free. For more advanced “lessons”, they charged. I’m not sure if they’re still around but it’s a model to think about.
I’m a marketing strategy guy. I built my first business in 2001 in the event marketing space which ran for about 7 years in NYC. My team coordinated the events but I was the brains behind all the marketing efforts. From grassroots to list building, it all went through me. It really exposed me to a lot of different facets in business.
I also did a few startups and probably built 100+ sites. I use notes, excel, photoshop, word, stuff like that but moving everything over to docs.

The landing page looks good to me. I get the idea that you’re developing and how it’s useful - I love that the landing page is concise.
However, I accessed the website from my mobile and the menu button floats in a weird place and when clicking it, it covers most of the screen but the background is transparent which makes it look like a mistake. Did you actually mean it this way then?
Hey thanks a lot for the feedback! I'm glad you understand the idea and think the landing page is concise. Regarding mobile, I intended it to be that way but it was just an original concept! Feedback like this definitely helps me rethink how to make it better, and I'll mess around with a few different placement options and transparency levels. Do you have any specific thoughts on where to place the menu button?

Well I was thinking of a solid bar that sticks at the top of the page as you scroll down. The menu button would sit on the right end of the bar and when clicked, the menu would cover the whole screen or a fixed percentage, with no transparency.
Let me know what you think about this.
Gotcha. I just tried it out and idk if I love it. Mostly for the reason that smartphones are so big nowadays that putting the menu button all the way at the top might make it a bit more inaccessible with one hand for people.
Tbh it's not a huge worry at the moment anyway, so I'm mostly indifferent, although of course I appreciate the suggestion. I'm more concerned about getting people to download the product and hearing their feedback. That said, would this be something you could see yourself using? Or any of your friends? Why or why not?
Well, I can't really use it cause I'm a Windows user :D, but I'm sure that friends of mine would be more than excited to use a tool like this.
I actually had a colleague who kept complaining that he couldn't remember all the shortcuts when he bought a MacBook. So, definitely I can see how this is a tool that many people would find useful.
