Landing Page Feedback: Between! Next Gen Calls.

Hello IndieHackers community!

I'm here to ask for copy/design feedback on our landing page! More specifically:

  • Do you understand the problem?
  • Do you understand the product?
  • How do the visuals of the site look?

We started working on this product a couple months ago! It's been a crazy ride so far but it's fun.

    Heres my inside-my-head thoughts, written out:

    • Not sure what 'hybrid calls' are, or what 'engaging calls' are. Not part of my terminology, im a tech/software/marketing guy btw.
    • Looking at the video, my first thought is 'i have zoom and google meet, this seems redundant.
    • Based on how many issues i've had with zoom and google meet having various hardware connection issues, that also seem dependent on what other applications I have running, this just seems like another opportunity for more of these issues to happen, and awkward coordination issues to happen in trying to get things connected
    • thought, 'google (meet) cant even fully get video chat / hybrid whatnots to work properly, every time, consistently; i dont need another potential problem, especially when these other things are free
    • the background is distracting
    • i see some cool logos of (im assuming) important companies. I wonder if these companies are using it, and if they are, are they using it org wide? Or just a single person associated with the company?

      Thanks for your feedback!

      1. Hybrid calls are calls where some people are remote and some people are in person.

      2. I suppose the video could do a better job describing it. Remote members can move their voice around the room so it actually feels like they're in the room.

      3. The companies are a single team (not one person), but not the entire organization.

      4. By the background, you're talking about the purple wave? Noted, going to start working on a B version!

      I really agree! The background is a mess. Also not a fan of the loader.

    Overall found the site pretty confusing. What's a 'hybrid' call? Seems like there's a bunch of marketing speak but the copy isn't clear exactly what product you're offering. OK so I can do video/voice calls. But it's not clear what's different here.

    The animation in the middle left me even more confused than when I was reading text (opposite of what's supposed to happen with visuals).

    Review here seems a bit harsh, but more than anything the page just left me unclear what the offering includes.
