Landing page feedback

Hi Hackers, I am building a news service that makes you play 3D games to understand the news. The site address is https://www.newsassim.com
After browsing the website, do you understand what the project is all about?
Thanks in advance.

Can you create 3D simulations fast enough to stay relevant? If so, why not create one 3D simulation and see how popular that is?

Right now, your landing page is trying to tell me what it is -- instead, show me.

Can you show me an example of the 737 max simulation? And then get me to sign up for more when they are available.

This would be a much better approach in my opinion. It sounds cool, but there's no way I would sign up with that landing page.

    Good luck

      Thanks @sobbuh.
With the game engine we use, we will be able to create a playable version of a news simulation within few weeks of the news becoming "hot". Of course will only conver a selected set of news, not everything. For the 737 Max simulation it will be released in 2 weeks from now.

        Cool. Sounds exciting

Whats about the relevancy? I mean, you need to release something like the 737 max crash in a week or two to stay relevant. Also, how do you make sure, the simulations are acurate?

Thanks ChristianLutz, I totally agree that simulations have to be created within a week or two, but in the concrete case of the 737 Max, the story is still relevant several months after it happened and it will stay relevant until all the issues are fixed. There are also some kind of simulations related to historical events and once a year the story will pop up in the news (during the anniversary) we will have one year to prepare for that. A good example is the Chernobyl event, it is a good topic of a simulation, explaining what actually happened to the reactor. We can start working on that a year in advance and get it ready by the anniversary of the event.

In the case of chernobyl, would this be like such animations in documentations but "playable"? How would this look like? Maybe the chernobyl accident would be a good first proof of concept that you can show on your website.

In the case of Chernobyl it will be a simulation of the experiment that they were trying to run on the reactor which lead to the explosion. Basically we will put the player at the command and make him/her run the same experiment.
