Landing page feedback - CRM for Job Seekers
I was recently looking for a new job. And like many other people, I applied to dozens of jobs. After a certain point the list of applications grew way too long for my mind to keep track of. So I could either note these in a notebook or I could create a spread sheet and log them there.
But then I thought about an application that can let us add jobs that we have applied or where we want to apply. We could get regular reminders, set interview dates and plan our weeks, put up tasks for follow ups or any interview assignments. With also this data we could also whether we need to apply to more jobs or we need to brush up our interview skills.
Like a personal CRM for job seekers. Even free-lancers could use it. And there are a couple of paid solutions out there.

I've thought about this. I am currently looking. W 10 different sites its a PITA to track job apps, but I really don't want to have to manually add them into another system. I can barely keep track what jobs I apply too, I definitely do not want to add other crap into another system. Don't know what the answer is. But thats how I feel as a job seeker.
Hi. So I understand that adding these applications will be a pain but I guess it's true for all productivity apps. But it's a good sign that you feel that it is actually a pain to track job apps. So now I think I need to focus on how to make it easier for someone to add jobs.
Any suggestions? How about a chrome extension?
Chrome extension is probably the best option. Some other (random) ideas:
Problem with such a service : first, people will stop using and paying, once they find a job. Second, money might be tight for those out of jobs, they're likely to have more time than money :(

these are details but give a feeling of quality :
make all UI elements look the same in terms of look and feel : you have buttons with very rounded corners (get beta access now) , you have input elements with small rounded corners (enter your email) and you have buttons without rounding (join)
do the same for all
consistency in layout helps to convey quality

Hi. Those were some good suggestions so I had to immediately put them to use. Consistency is another one so all the buttons have been changed.
What do you think about the messaging? And do you feel that there is a market out there for such a tool?
I was looking at this landing page, and I was trying to think as a job seeker.
First: Do I as a job seeker really want a CRM, or just want to find a job as soon as possible? Does every job seeker from your customers really know what CRM means?
Second: Maye I would be more attracted with this sentence in the header - "never miss a job application". That could be a real benefit and real itch for the job seekers.
So I would highlight the benefits and main benefit put in the header.
I would youse a bit larger font.
I would replace "Request beta access", with "Get free beta access Now"

And what about the messaging of the page? Is it possible for a random visitor to understand what this site is all about?
Looks better from my perspective. You can prepare two versions of the same landing page, and do A/B testing when you do promotions. That way you can see which headline bring better conversion.
I am clear what your product is about, and what I can expect. Good job there.
I like the product ,
issues with your landing page :
you have two call to actions about the fold ,
only keep the "request beta access" (and add that it is free)
you ask people to request access twice , in the modal , select a different text
you don't have any footer / privacy policy ...
in terms of layout , it misses some polishing , like the "get started" link in the top menu looks cheap
