Would love to get some feedback on my landing page. I am hesitant about mentioning the "competition" right at the start, but on the other hand, these are huge products that anyone who wants Big Picture is going to be well aware of already.
Actually, if I wind up keeping them, do I need to add (TM) symbols to those mentions? Like: Slack™. I don't see Slack itself doing that, but it is a registered trademark.
Any other comments would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hey! Congrats on the first draft. We all have to start somewhere. :)
Quick feedback - need to work on the readability of the font colors. The Grey does not work on the purple.
Remove the logo from the middle.
The Early Access CTA needs to move into the above the fold hero area.
The copy also needs some work at the top. I understand what it does to replace all those tools, but it needs some finessing.
What program are you using to build the page?
Happy to give some more free advice in an intro call. (I work exclusively with early-stage SaaS startups on GTM).

Thanks, Scott,
I am using Docusaurus for the landing page and blog. It's pretty trivial to set up and use, and can be statically hosted on Github Pages. A lot of flexibility, and the site can grow into my documentation site as I get further along in the process (documentation is the main use of Docusaurus.)
I appreciate your feedback and incorporated much of it. I even dedicated a section to the landing page feedback on my weekly stand-up blog post (https://bigpicture.site/blog/2024-03-03-weekly-standup)
Awesome! And yes, above the fold varies from screen to screen. Typically having CTA higher ensures that it will be visible on almost every screen size.
Actually I like it. It looks professional. Maybe the logo is really too big for its none-functionallity so it takes a lot of attention of nothing. Also changing the theme has some problems on the light theme
Thanks for the feedback. I didn't notice the issue with the light-theme colors (what kind of monster uses a light theme! 💀) Should be better now.
Hey @ILIWYCMBgPicCha,
At first glance, I would do a couple of things:
Happy hacking
Thanks for the feedback! I'm not sure what a VSL is. The closest applicable acronym that Google came back with is "Video Sales Letter", which doesn't feel like what you mean.
For the rest, I think I incorporated most of the feedback. I mentioned a lot of this in my weekly stand-up blog post (linked above)
The formatting is weird in the hero, you need to scroll down to see everything. Too much text, also agree with @hatkyinc that it needs social proof.
Wouldn't it be fast to copy a frontend template or just use Unicorn Platform?
Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure what Unicorn Platform is, but the headline says that it lets you create websites without design or development skills. I'm not sure how a website can have skills, but if it can, I definitely want it to have both design and development skills.
Having been a programmer for over 30 years, I can tell you just copying a front-end template from somewhere is usually not "fast." It is tedious and fiddly. Even buying and incorporating a template from somewhere like ThemeForest can be a ton of work. I'm happy with Docusaurus for now. It is easy, flexible, free, and has the functionality I need.
As for social proof... what kind of social proof are you thinking? I am six to nine months out from even considering having a live customer use this. So "testimonial" style social proof isn't going to work.
I'd be interested in knowing more about what kind of social proof would be applicable at this stage.
The logo is too big. Why yet another platform like that? Why do you a tiny project that just started are suppose to replace monster system and do them all better and cheaper?
There is no trust being built on the page, unless you just go for cheap. That screenshot shows your early and/or lacking some design fine tunning.
Thanks for the reply! I removed the logo.
On the screenshot, I am updating it every week to show progress. Plus the weekly blog posts have a lot more screenshots in them.
I did update the text of the screenshot to say that it is being updated weekly.
By no means do I want to pretend that this product is ready for use right now. Rather, I am more interested in finding people who are going to be willing to try a new product, warts and all, and be willing to give me feedback. And even before that, people who are willing to have a conversation with me about what they would like to see out of a product like this. Hopefully in exchange for a lifetime discount. The actual first adopter will likely even get a lifetime free account.
I mention my goals for the landing page in a dedicated section of the blog post (https://bigpicture.site/blog/2024-03-03-weekly-standup#landing-page-purpose).
I don't get why you want to do it to yourself and what the real vision is
