Landing page feedback for BoardRocket (round 2)

I shared this landing page a few days ago (https://www.indiehackers.com/post/landing-page-feedback-for-boardrocket-720137f4b6) and got some really helpful feedback. @immbudden and I have been hard at work and we've made a few changes.

Have a look and let us know what you think!

Looks like an interesting idea. Probably, sneak peek into the board on the landing page will eventually help customers to get an idea of what to expect.

I was thinking along the same lines. I think a demo video would work best given you are close to wrapping up development. Would help users understand what they are signing up for.

Also, not a big thing, but highlighting that the product is not yet ready in the landing section sub-copy would be nice touch.

I like the copy on the page and also the rocket inside the R is an awesome little touch! :)

I think the model is clever with the revenue sharing. I agree with the other posters that a few screenshots would be nice. Also a list of features. How will my customers pay me? Will I charge them per job ad? Can I configure how long ads stay online etc.

I like the on-point vibe of the landing page. I think a "how it works" section with some visuals might help the user to get an idea of the product itself. Keep up the good work!

I just built an MVP for Project List: reddit like board where you can add and vote ideas for side projects. I really appreciate any feedback: https://projectlist.threadbase.io/. Thanks a lot!

This piqued my interest, I've got an idea for a niche job board but don't have the time to set it up from scratch.

    My suggestions would be;

    • Perhaps try and add a screenshot or two of an example board, even if it's just a mockup it would be good to know what to expect.
    • Add a basic features list, something someone might take from granted as expected might not be something you're wanting to implement, the sooner that's clear the better.
    • Add a quick message to your done page once users sign up, just a nice touch.
    • Add a favicon, It looks like you're using Carrd, you can do this in the Publish panel.

I hope that all makes sense, any questions let me know.

All great suggestions @chrisdwheatley - thanks for dropping them in.

In regards to features, we'll definitely add them in, but out of interest is there anything that you would like to see that you wouldn't classify as "standard" for job boards?

Also, thanks for the carrd tip - I was scratching my head over that!

      1. 2

Actually, with regards to standard I can't think of anything specific that I'd expect that wouldn't be on your list. Will let you know if I do.
