Landing page feedback for Queues- a productivity tool for team members

Hi everyone!

After years of working as a team member (software engineer), I’m building a productivity tool specifically for them!

I’m planning to publicly launch the private beta soon, and would love to hear any feedback you might have about the landing page- specifically about the design, and the way the product value + problem it tries to solve are communicated.

    You mentioned that you are building a productivity tool for software engineers. But you didn't mention that in the page title. There are so many productivity tools now that seeing one more makes me sleepy. I need to find something unique to get out of that mode.

    I think selling productivity tool is tougher because inherently most people feel that they are productive. So why do I need a productivity tool? First you need to make them realize that their productivity can be improved which can potentially increase their income (if they are a freelancer). Then tell them how their product helps them fix that problem.

      That's great feedback, thanks!

      As you suggested (also brought up in another comment), I definitely need to think about how to better communicate the fact that the tool’s initial focus is on engineers.

      FYI what I am already trying to emphasize now is the unique (more general) focus of the product which is individuals in collaborative spaces (aka team members), with the tagline “Manage your collaborative work”. (would love to hear if you have comments regarding this as well)

      Wow thanks! This is so useful, I really appreciate it!

      So many things to take from this, here are some specifics I have:

      1. Great point about addressing the user group I’m focusing on. 
The product is intended to be generic (anyone using collaborative tools), but the initial focus is indeed on tech users (developers, designers, team/technical leads).
        
I should definitely think again on how to communicate it better there, as you mentioned!
      2. Great input about the terminology missing introduction (updates, impact etc). I will think about how to improve that as well.
      3. I’m happy to learn that in the bottom line you kind of got the value of the product (not sure how hard it was).

    Hi!

    I like the design!

    Got some feedback tho:

    The idea isn’t really clear for me, I understood it better when I saw the personalized feed GIF. (Atleast I think).

    I would say show examples that would help so much!

    So I would add screenshots to the features.

    Also, I would explain how you got to your name, then the name sticks better, atleast for me.

      Can you please elaborate on the screenshots input? You mean you'd expect to see more examples for every feature/ see them before where they currently are/ make them more elaborate?

        Hey!

        Here is a little example of what I mean, take a look at this website: https://www.loopcv.pro/ now go to the how it works section you see “ Create one or more job searches (loops)”. That would be the simplest way. (Wouldn’t say it’s the best example, but it is something.).
