Landing Page feedback for ResearchPRO - a Chrome-Notion extension to 10x internet research.

Hi all -
I would love to get feedback, thoughts, and constructive criticism on my landing page -

What is it? -
A Notion-Chrome Extension to increase productivity when performing internet research.

How does it work? -
(1) You define a topic or category which buckets your web highlights and sources.
(2) As you're zooming through the web researching your topic, you can make highlights on any web page or article which instantly takes the highlight and original source and and syncs it to a notion page of your choosing in a bulleted list.
(3) When you're done, you can export all of the links associated with a given research "topic" into a Notion page as Bibliography.
For example, a highlight might look like:

"The Blockchain market is growing at 25% CAGR YOY in 2023 [reuters.com]

Whats the Painpoint?-
I used to do this ALL the time as analyst at an investment company. My bosses would say, go research X market and give us a detailed report by the end of the day. The first part of that process is compiling original sources and material. What I wanted was highlights on a website + the original source so that I could link and find everything. There are some tools out there that are pretty good, but none I've seen for Notion.

Love the adapted idea for Notion users!

The page is clear and simple, enough for the right audience.

Some suggestions if you are looking to improve the landing page:
1. Focusing on conversion:
- A clear call to action in the first section of the page.
- Instead of "Sign Up" → "Get 1 Month Free Early Access"
- Gifs instead of images to showcase the "how it works", you could use a tool like https://www.screen.studio/ for the screen recording.
1. Focusing on UI:
- A more appealing way to display the steps.
- Notion style icons, as it can help to reinforce the idea that the product is designed specifically for Notion users.
Quick redesign for the first section of the page showing some applied suggestions (https://i.gyazo.com/ac1b644084f88613dee344a26ce5299d.png).

Another option to explore is consolidating everything into one section. It might seem a bit redundant having the steps at the top of the page and then the "how it works" section with the same copy but adding images. Could be worth considering to streamline the user experience.

On the other hand, have you considered a different approach to the offer/price model?

      Now that I see it in action I'm hyped! Looks very useful. I even imagine using it to highlight books/papers. Does it work with .pdf web pages?
      
      And I'm curious, what's the function of the highlighter without the Notion Sync and vice-versa?
      
      Regarding the UI, I like the notion style illustrations although I think it's a bit overkill with 7 icons/illustrations in a tiny box (without counting the two toggles). Moving the profile and exclamation icon inside settings could be one step towards a cleaner look.

    In terms of the pricing model, It's hard for me to say without knowing the specifics (market research, competitors, distribution channel, target audience, etc.), but it's great that you're open to test different options. One of them could be a limited free tier. But again, it would depend on the specific goals and target audience of the product.
    
    Some questions that you could ask yourself:
    
    My target audience will be more likely to convert to paying customers after a free trial or with a free limited tier pricing plan?
    
    I'm trying to attract as many users as possible or generate revenue?
    
    How invested is my ideal customer in the Notion ecosystem? Could they just switch off to a free competitor outside Notion because of my barrier to entry (a tedious sign up or payment)?
    
    Test and pivot as you go, the market will decide.

Sounds like a solid product.

I think the layout/styling might be a bit borked at the moment? I've tried with Safari, Firefox and Edge (I don't have Chrome itself handy). At certain narrow widths, elements start overlapping. And are each of the 3 steps supposed to be in round rects? I'm only seeing the top-left corner of each.

I think bolding is being overused to highlight key words and is hindering readability. Step 2 is the worst example. I think you could find ways to eliminate some of the non-bold words, which could help to focus the reader's attention on the points that you want to emphasise.

"The modern web surfer's 10x productivity tool" should have an apostrophe. But I think it's a bit convoluted. Would something like "supercharge your web research" be better?

"For the same price as a coffee" -> "for the price of a coffee"

I like the simplicity of the pricing structure.
