Hey IndieHackers!
I launched my landing page this week. Hopefully, you guys can give some tips and point out anything you don't like? Thanks!
Here is the landing page: https://www.getwoord.com
Also, the product is working, if someone wants to try it.
Thanks!
I really like the landing page, nice and clean and explains what it is and how it can be used. One thing I wasn't sure on in the demo where it asks to enter a demo text or URL when you click on convert it makes you sign up which I think might put some people off, as they'd want to hear what it sounds like before giving their details.
Great feedback, thanks! What do you think if I add a small label could say: "Sign-up required" under the convert button?
No problem. O think that would if you want to keep the sign up requirement as it would and potential users be surprised that they suddenly bring asked to sign up.
But I think you might get more chance of people signing up and using it if they can demo it first without needing to sign up at all. I can understand you wouldn't want a user to download the audio without signing up as they could use it without signing up.
I think some people might get put off needing to sign up without first getting what the TTS sounds like. I was for example.
True, better to play around first and check how the text is converted and then if the user is happy to start the signup process. Really appreciate your feedback!
+1 to this suggestion. The first thing I thought was 'I wonder if this sounds awful or not'. I went to test it, and then found I had to sign-up, which is effort.
Whereas if it sounded good, I would then want to sign-up to maybe play with more advanced features.
Hi NocodeHacker! Now you can to test the audio conversions without sign in!
Nice! I've given it a play, and it's a much nicer testing experience.
The character cap is also a nice touch, as it is friction at the right point: when an individual can see the value and is converting a lot of text. At this point, they have more intent to buy.
Thanks! 💪🏻
No worries glad to help 🙂
Hi boardy! Now you can to test the audio conversions without sign in!
That's great. I had a listen to the TTS, it's impressive. I work in the telecoms industry so used to dealing with the common ones that all of the Telecoms companies seem to use and are really expensive but they all sound really robotic.
Thanks!!!
