Landing Page feedback greatly appreciated

Hello! I have a startup here in NYC and am working overtime on new brand identity and landing page. I am really hoping to wrap this up soon to be able to move on to some other initiatives.

The IH community has been incredibly valuable to building my page thus far and I would greatly appreciate feedback — particularly on these questions:

  1. What do you think the product is?
  2. Why is it different than other solutions you know of?
  3. Would you sign-up to the waitlist for this?

Thank you!

    1. Interior design and furniture purchase
    2. I've seen augmented reality / virtual design type apps similar to this
    3. No - not in the market

In regards to the site layout and UX - there are some updates I'd suggest; such as:

    • the heroic banner is off weight as there is a gap between the animated gif and the heroic text
    • the heroic text and email sign up are below the fold when I first get to the site
    • The experience going from the fuzzy image of a guy in his kitchen to the crisp prototype images doesn't transition the eye too well - this section feels out-of-place styling-wise compared to the rest of the landing page

Good start - I like the concept!

Hi There! Congrats on your site. Here's my responses plus some other commentary.

    1. A website that sells furniture + home decor through real-life examples of others using it in their home.

    2. This encourages potential customers to see the furniture in an actual home setting and not just a white background photo like other retailers put on their site. Lets the customer visualize that piece of furniture in their house easier than the traditional method of a product image on white background.

    3. I have no interior design bone in my body, so in my case no. However, my wife could take to something like this.

The only other comment I have is that it took me a little bit to understand the pitch. I feel like I had to scroll down a lot and squint my eyes to understand it all. It may be that I'm just dense but just wanted to share my experience. Also keep in mind that I'm probably not your target customer.

    Cheers!
