I just put together a landing page for owners of physical stores (specially non-techies) to go online ASAP at no cost, including support sharing screens until they are 100% up and running if needed.
If you were a business owner like these ones☝️, would this landing page answer all your questions? Would you feel comfortable entering your email?
It's a great initiative @FCScher
One thing I would change is definitely avoiding auto video play. Other than that, all good!
@felix12777 Thanks a lot for your feedback Felix!
I would get someone to proofread your text. There are a lot of grammatically incorrect and awkward sentences. Fixing that would go a long way towards making your site look more legitimate.
Is this an e-commerce platform like Shopify or Ecwid? Who are the volunteers that will help in setting up the store? Why do you have volunteers and not employees? I'm not 100% sure what you do or what the service is.
Thanks a lot for your feedback Ryan!
I will definitely get someone to proofread it.
About content, if you were a business with a physical store that needs to get an online store ASAP in the current situation, will the landing page answer the most urgent questions?
About the service: ShopWindow (the project behind this) is similar to Shopify, Ecwid... But way simpler and easier to manage.
That means people can actually do things on their own and even in the case they get stuck, the will be getting help at no cost.
Re: volunteers? There are a couple reasons for that:
Makes sense?
Hi Francisco.
I think my most urgent question would be, "what is this service and how can it help my business?".
If your service (ShopWindow) is an e-commerce platform like Shopify then I would say exactly that at the top of your landing page. There should be no doubt about what it is that you're offering.
I think you could omit the "volunteers" word and just say that you'll be helping out the business owner free of charge. "Volunteer" suggests a non-expert or someone not entirely invested in the service may be helping out the business owner and they may not be as open to that.
I hope that helps.

Hi Shiva, thanks a lot for your feedback!
Can you please share some questions that remain unanswered for you?
Proofreading is on its way, good catch!
How would you make it shorter or simpler?
Thanks again for your time! :)
