Landing page feedback - Learnshots

I think given the quality content it could become an interesting newsletter. The reason I say that is because I'd much rather get a weekly email with great content rather than remember to visit another website to get it. Not to say you can't have both, just thinking out loud which format I'd prefer.

I would also recommend spreading out the frequency of new content, as I guess posting something new every single day is not going to be sustainable long term. I think posting weekly would be a good compromise. I would also enjoy reading your own, personal take on every link you post and what you think about it. Highly recommend checking out Dense Discovery - https://www.densediscovery.com/. It's like Stripe of personal newsletters, an absolute best one.

As for the landing page, I find it quite chaotic. The content here is a list of links organized by day, but displaying them in a grid makes it much harder to scan with your eyes.

What I would do is simplify the page layout to a vertical one, remove unnecessary styling like shadows and animations, make badges colorful to avoid the whole page being red. Basically just keep everything simple and easy to digest.

When I get to the site, I'm not sure about the quality of the resources listed. "Is this just a list of a bunch of mediocre course and stuff?" Maybe I'd show what made each item part of your curated list. I mean, have you tried them yourself? See what I mean?

Hey! This is a very neat concept and I would be willingly to give it try as a first time visitor. Just looking at the date format though, the first number (date) seems a size or two larger than the month and year. Is this a conscious decision on your part?

Based on "Learnshots aims to grow your knowledge base to the next level, provide you ample resources to learn about certain topics around tech, programming, startups, and productivity.", I expect the website home page to be organized by tracks / subjects, and not by date with tags.

I would replace the timeline with a tile menu of categories (the tags), such as "learn startup marketing", "learning startup funding", "learning programming", etc. and then each category's page should have the links that you're curating ordered by "start here" to "expert" (not by date -- dates might not even be important to display at all -- but if you do display them, make sure the content doesn't eventually look stale).

• The colours are hard on the eyes, why red like your selling coca-cola?... so much of it.. having text both black and white... you need a designer.. the pixelated rounded corners with borders look like it's a site from 1993
• many of the titles and text look so spamy for the claim your trying to curate quality, they don't look good
• Would probably look nicer if you keep the left to right and not center the last row of blocks.
• "Curated" is a bit meaningless if I don't know what are the filters of curation... Tech/Eng./Programming do you have a clear definition on when each tag is given? maybe a tool-tip for your meaning of the labels?
  "Awesome Sites" is there a reason not all of your blocks have that? like why do you have anything that's not awesome on a curated list?...
  Like this is the core of your premise, the thing you should spend the most time on getting right, make me fill the premise is important to you, that you mean it, that I can get that in a second
