    Hey Victoriia

I like what you have been doing here. Especially the fact that what your agency is offering looks concise and not fluffy as I found often with agencies.
I elaborated a bit with audio messages you can listen to here: https://www.vero.fm/page/recrFfT34wOY4bcxU/

    Go Ralabs!

      Hey Ben!

Many thanks for your feedback - appreciate it a lot.

Also, the concept of the app with audio messages is very cool. My team will apply for early access!

Hey Victoriia, your question isn't completely clear (are you offering Indie Hacker users a free consult or are you asking if the new design reaches its main goal which is to have people agree to a free consult). I'm assuming you are asking if the design leads to people wanting to agree to a free consult.

If your main goal is to get people to agree to a free consult, I don't think the design does a good job of that. I viewed the page on my mobile phone so that may affect the navigation path I took. Here are a few things I noticed:

    • The most prominent button is "Meet Our Design Lead" (and it seems to be used in different places throughout the site). When considering hiring a design firm, my number one goal is to see examples of design and maybe case studies showing how the design firm improved another client's business through their design work.
      • I really don't care about meeting the design lead until I'm actually ready for the consult. I think most potential customers are wondering "What can you do for me?" not "Who are you?" (unless who you are has some really impressive clients and/or history)
      • The site seems to be trying to answer "Who are you?" which isn't my main concern when considering a design firm (and it appears to be doing a poor job answering that question as explained below).
    • When clicking on the "Meet Our Design Lead" button it takes me to the bottom of the "About Us" page. On a mobile device, it is not clear that you are at the bottom of a page. It makes it feel like this is a "one-person design firm" especially since there are links to Serhii's LinkedIn page and it says I can talk directly to Serhii (in a large design firm, I'm probably not going to be talking to the Lead UI/UX Designer unless I'm a prominent client). The "Talk To Serhii Today" reinforces the idea that it is a small design firm if the Lead Designer has such a slow schedule that they can talk to me today.
    • I tried scrolling down to see who else was involved in the company and only saw a contact form. I finally realized that there was more content above the Serhii section. If I were a potential client, I would probably leave the site at this point because the UX of meeting the Lead Designer and ending up at the bottom of a page with limited information is not a great user experience.
    • As I start to scroll up, I'm trying to find out more information about the company and I see information about Serhii's cat under a heading that says "OUR DESIGN TEAM". This reinforces the idea of a company of one. I'm a dog person, so seeing information about a cat when I'm trying to find out who else is involved in the company is a bit of a turn off after I was already frustrated at ended up at the bottom of a page.
    • I keep scrolling up and see pictures of people (that look a bit like stock photos) with platitudes that don't mean anything to me. I'm not sure why a potential design firm is telling me to "Be your own CEO." At this point I scroll up to the top (missing that I was in the "Our Values" section which would have made a lot more sense if I were scrolling down instead of scrolling up). I get the impression based on the statistics that the firm is larger than one person and it just brings more confusion of whether or not this is a large firm or a single person firm.
    • I'm assuming the main goal is to get people to use the contact form at the bottom. I'm personally not a big fan of NDAs so the "SEND NDA" pre-checked checkbox is a big turnoff. I'm not sure what it is indicating. Is the design firm I'm potentially hiring asking me to sign an NDA? Or are they asking if I want them to sign an NDA for any information I share with them? It is really confusing because if I were a client where an NDA was important to me, I would want the NDA to be crafted by my lawyer. I definitely wouldn't want to use an NDA created by my design firm. I haven't used a design firm before, so maybe this is standard practice, but the design firm asking me about an NDA in the very first contact is a turn off for me (I could see it potentially have the opposite affect for someone who values NDAs).

Some possible action steps I would recommend:

    1. "Meet Our Design Lead" should not be the most prominent button on the website. If that is still really important, have it link to the top of the About Us page, not the bottom.
    2. If you can, get brief quotes from top clients where you could put something like a headshot picture/logo of the client and a quote saying "Ralabs Design was amazing...". Link to the client's Twitter accounts or websites.
    3. The largest text on the home page says "WEBSITES APPS CONCEPTS". This does not draw me in at all (and it doesn't read well: I read it as "Websites apps concepts" sounds like broken English which doesn't mean anything to me - I think it was meant to be read as "Websites | Apps | Concepts" which makes more sense but still doesn't mean much to me. Make the largest text have an emotional hook that draws the user in - tell me why I should use you and how you are going to solve my problem. Maybe consider hiring a copyrighter for the main text.
    4. Think through the path/story you want users to take on the site. Right now the path/story a user gets is (at least this is the path I followed): "We build website app concepts?" -> "Serhii is the lead designer" -> "You can contact us" -> "Serhii has a cat" -> "You can be a CEO" -> "We have impressive stats"
    5. Personalize any staff photos (have them wear a shirt with a Ralabs logo or have it prominently displayed in the photo - a few of the photos do that but they blend in with the other photos so it isn't clear if you are looking at staff photos or stock photos). If you want to keep using the same photos, maybe caption them with "Jenny S. from accounting", "The Ralabs team hitting the slopes", etc.

Overall, the design looks great! I think the copyrighting and site navigation could use improvement - especially in regards to the most prominent text and buttons a user can press. I think it could really improve if the focus is on the the story you are sharing with the user and if the navigation lines up with that story.

Oh wow! Thank you for your time!
Your feedback is a huge help, we definitely took some points we didn't see before (about the design lead, and the team pictures). We will also work on a better flow and evaluate our key messages.

      Thank you one more time!
