Hey all, I'm still working on the product itself, but would SUPER APPRECIATE any feedback on the landing page, idea of the product, pricing model, or whatever else.
Signature.email is a low-tech way to design and distribute email signatures without all of the painful parts of them.
Ya'll inspire me a bunch, thanks!
#landing-page-feedback
Hey Jesse!
I took a gander at the site, and put together a bunch of notes, as well as an 18-minute video walkthrough. You can get access to all those notes, as well as the video, here: https://reviewcycle.io/p/08722c
Hope it's helpful!
(In case you're curious, I've been doing UX design and work like this for the past 15 years or so. Still tho, take my comments for what they're worth - just an opinion!)
Dude, thanks a bunch! A ton of awesome feedback for a random stranger on the internet! And showing it in ReviewCycle is a cool idea!
As you have already surmised, I'm a designer and not a copywriter! I'll never be able to start a sentence with "its" again without grimacing and starting over! =)
I'm going to start working your comments into the landing page in the next few days.
I'm still unsure about pricing. It might be a bit too expensive, but some of the competitors (with more features albeit) charge up to $2 per USER, or $192/Month for $20 signatures! Seems crazy! Mine is a bit different because I don't limit users/signatures, only templates. So I'm actually trying to hit the low end of the market! (Well, low end for companies, not for individuals)
Happy to do it! Keeps my chops sharp ;)
Well, props to you as a designer, great work, the site looks really dope visually. Def interesting on the pricing - as I said, not a market I'm familiar with, so good to hear there's a swath of products out there that have proved that pricing out. Sounds like your model is def a better value.
Good luck out there!
I agree with @ravivyas "Designers will love it, " I don't think that is your target market.
I would remove everything from the navbar except login and design. Put them in the footer.
Makes sense, yes, I will push those other items to the footer.
Hi Jesse, Your target usually would be the marketing team for this. They want signatures to be on brand, so would be great if the headline is targeted to the marketing team. Also, don't use the phrase "low-tech", no one wants to pay for low-tech. Rather user words which describe how simple it is. Showcase the problem too, the same company having different signatures. Things not "on brand" will irritate the marketing folks.
Also, if you actually report on who is and is not using signatures in the org, it will help the marketing team, because if you need everyone on brand, you need everyone, just a few will not cut it.
Best of luck.
Appreciate your comments. You are totally right that probably the marketing person/department is the most likely purchasing customer.
Also agreed about the term low-tech.
Was just thinking the other day I need to collect examples of signatures that have gotten butchered over time with the copy and paste telephone "game". Those would be great on the site.
Yes, you can also make up an example, you have one on consistent signatures, you just need an inconsistent version.
